The Five Tiers
Your tier is based on the combined balance held by your activated referred friends (the ones who've made at least one card payment, explained below):
Tier | Combined Referred Balance | Your Yield Share |
Starter | $0 to $10,000 | 10% |
Builder | $10,000 to $50,000 | 15% |
Whale Hunter | $50,000 to $100,000 | 18% |
Ambassador | $100,000 to $200,000 | 22% |
Legend | $200,000+ | 25% |
How Leveling Up Works
Your tier updates automatically as the combined balance of your referred friends changes. There's nothing to claim. Refer more friends, or have your existing friends grow their balances, and you move up. If friends withdraw funds, your combined total drops and your tier can move down as well.
What Counts Toward Your Tier
A friend's balance counts the same way deposits count toward their BeatPass tier for cashback: their beatUSD, their Master USD+ vault, and any USD+ on Morpho, all combined. For more on how those deposits work, see "How does cashback work on Hyperbeat Pay?"
Two things to remember:
Only friends who signed up with your specific referral link count toward your tier.
A friend only starts counting once they've made at least one card payment. Someone who has signed up and deposited but not yet paid with their card does not yet count. (See "How does the Hyperbeat referral program work?" for what activates a referral.)
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Treasury yield rates change over time, which affects how much you actually earn at any given share.
Your current tier and combined referred balance are always shown on the Rewards page.
You can use the calculator in the app to estimate your earning potential.
