Building your squad
A squad is 15 players: 2 goalkeepers (GK), 5 defenders (DEF), 5 midfielders (MID), 3 forwards (FWD).
Maximum 3 players per nation.
Budget: $100m during the group stage ($105m in the knockout stage).
Only your starting 11 score points each matchday.
Your captain scores double.
Available formations: 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 5-3-2.
Can I change my team?
Yes. Before each matchday deadline you get 2 free transfers to swap players. Every transfer beyond that costs 3 points.
How points are scored
Your players score points for what they do in real World Cup matches. Only your starting 11 score, and your captain scores double. Scoring follows the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Fantasy rules.

Boosts — multiply your matchday points
Your boost multiplies the points your squad earns each matchday. You can earn it three ways, up to a combined +25%. Boosts reset every matchday.

When do prizes land?
After the tournament ends, prizes are paid as a single statement credit to your Hyperbeat account, typically within 30 days of the final.
Do I have to spend to play?
Entry is free. You can build a squad and earn points without spending anything.
To stay eligible for cash prizes, you must do one of the following on Hyperbeat before 15 July:
Spend at least $500 on anything with your Hyperbeat card, or
Trade/predict at least $50,000 in volume.
Points are still earned without meeting this threshold, but cash-prize eligibility requires hitting one of the two options. Spending, trading and referring also boost your points.

Throughout the World Cup, get 5% cashback at restaurants and bars (including Uber Eats) when you pay with your Hyperbeat card.
