Keep your card running smoothly with these quick checks:

1. Tidy up subscriptions

  • Merchants may keep charging on schedule even if a card is frozen/replaced.

  • Unlink Hyperbeat Pay from services you no longer use; update card details after you get a new/virtual card.

2. Check card status before you pay

  • Hyperbeat App → Card → Manage: make sure the card isn’t frozen, expired, or deleted.

3. Confirm funds or borrowing power

  • Debit Mode: keep enough USD to cover amount + any fees/FX (keep a small buffer).

  • Credit Mode: ensure borrowing power/health is sufficient (don’t sit at 100%).

4. Review limits & controls

  • Hyperbeat App → Card → Details

5. Use correct currency (avoid DCC)

  • At checkout, choose local currency - not “your home currency.” DCC often adds a markup and can cause mismatches.

6. Wallet setup (Apple/Google Pay)

  • Re-add the card if tokenization fails; enable NFC/Wallet, and set Hyperbeat as default. Try a small test tap.

7. Billing details & 3-D Secure

  • Enter the exact name/address on your profile; complete the 3DS challenge promptly. Re-try if the CVV or OTP fails.

8. Merchant category support

  • Some MCCs are restricted (cash equivalents, certain gambling/crypto services, etc.). If blocked, try another merchant or payment method.

9. Large or unusual purchases

  • Temporarily raise limits in Controls/Limits; keep extra buffer in beatUSD or add collateral for Credit Mode.

10. Travel prep

  • If traveling, enable destination countries in Controls and keep tap-to-pay active.
